Short description: Discussed are new trends and developments in population genetics.
Full description: New genetic markers used in poplation genetics and bioinformatic algorithms applied in the analysis of genetic structure of populations are discussed based on latest studies published in leading scientific journals.

Assessment methods and assessment criteria: Arithmetic mean of grades obtained after presenting two projects.
